STOP MOTION

Two tiny little stop motion clips for social media: a spaghetti and dinner made of yarn, and a scene representing cultivating your good habits to make them grow.

INSTALLATION

When North of Boston Studios approached me for a collaboration, they presented me with a CAD rendering of this structure, and asked me to come up with a fiber art concept to fill the colored spaces.

The resulting structures would be placed into a public square in the heart of the Boston , in front of the old Sears Roebuck building.

My concept was to use yarn to evoke motifs from 1960’s lawn chairs, originally produced by Sears in the wake of WW2, to make a statement on returning to leisure and gathering after COVID lockdown.
